Ralphie

Downside to having my guts rearranged: I puke all the damn time.

Upside: thanks to having no stomach acid, I get to enjoy my food twice and in this economy, every little bit helps, right?

it's better to burp and taste it than fart and waste it, eh?

Yes, I know that was terribly gross.

That whole dumping thing is horrible.

there are two types of "dumping" one is where the sugar hits your blood too fast, that's what most people think of as dumping since it causes issues at both ends, what I get is called "foamies" where your food gets stuck. As my pouch has healed it's gotten very tight and picky about what it'll tolerate. And it hates chicken, one of the few meats I'm allowed...

yuck and so sorry........

does the phrase taste like chicken apply here?

Are you allowed to have chocolate? If not, I would ask for my money back because I think that's the only food worth eating twice.

ahh, gastric bypass. didn't realize you got the surgery. I had it done...wow, over 5 years ago now. Lost about 130 lbs in my first 2 years and am now plateaued, need to exercise to get it down more. have any questions feel free to ask. I have a lot of sugar free low carb recipes :)

Poor Thystle - I hate to barf. The only time it's not too bad is when I'm drunk & can try to forget. Sober puking is the worst.

Hopefully you had a great birthday though!

This is why I am sticking with your basic bulemia instead of the whole tummy tuck thing. Personally, I like to throw up for a reason: such as shoving a toothbrush down your throat, not because "my pouch is too picky." But then again...I'm still in my fat jeans.

If I were there you know I would hold your hair back for ya.

That's just awful. either way. The women that I know have a huge problem with the sugar. One bite of cake sends her to the john to throw up. And the other had the shakes so bad she couldn't not stand. She's spent lots of time being sick. I had to ask her if it was all worth it. She with the shakes so bad she couldn't feed herself she said yes.
I just hope you don't have to go thru what she does. She has to eat something every 2 hours or have a hypoglycemia attack.
